I'm so sad for Mark's family, for Doug, Teddy, Chris, Mitch, Sarah, Tav, Caroline and all those who knew and loved Mark. He's forever frozen in my mind as around 25 years old, when I first met him, his parents and brothers and enjoyed watching the brotherly teasing that went on among Chris, Mitch and Mark.

Cancer is tough to battle and he put up a long courageous fight with the rest of his family by his side. I know this is quite a loss to you all and wish you all the best in the coming months and years with your grief.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Words cannot explain the loss and sorrow, that the Ahern family is now experiencing. We will keep them in our prayers. May God give them the strength to overcome the tough times.

We're heartbroken to learn of Mark's passing, and will keep Wanda and the boys, and Teddy, Doug, Mitch, and Chris and their families close to our hearts and in our thoughts and prayers.
