After the tears of sadness stopped, I looked for and found an old VHS tape of the Mike 'er Mark Show ... and then the tears of joy & happiness flowed. It was all there, the humor, the smile, the weird jokes, funny accents & wonderful wit. Roll that 'R' and wink, wink ... I'll miss you as I have loved you ... with all my heart. My condolences to you my loved ones ... Michael, Vera, Barbara, Nicholas, & Elizabeth.

Barbara, Nick, Elizabeth, and Michael: My first entry was actually my message to Mark. I want to add to that message that I can only imagine the depths of your loss of this wonderful man because I knew him for such a short time. My thoughts and prayers are that your grief will eventually turn into smiles while remembering all the blessings of having Mark in your lives. He will always be with you as a permanent resident of your hearts.

I have always known you, although we only met a month ago when we "held vigil" in the hospital the day of your brother's surgery. Now I know why Michael loved you so much! You were devoted to your family, always thoughtful, and sentimental, and of sweet character. I'm so terribly sad to know that we won't get to spend more time developing our friendship. It was something I really looked forward to.
