Not sure what to say?

I am just so, so sorry.

He left his dream with us, his inspiration will never be forgotten and future generations will be able to share the past history.

We have just watched GDA and the wonderful restoration of the substation. Fabulous style and use of space. Very sorry to hear of Marks' passing and so glad Mark got to enjoy his final years in this home after so much work and planning.. his legacy lives on.

Mary and David

Just watched you guys on GDA, sorry to hear about Mark, I’m glad he spent a couple of years in the house RIP Mark

I have only just seen this episode of Grand Designs here in Canada, and was so impressed with you two that I had to find out whether you both survived the ordeal of cancer and were able to enjoy your new home together. When I read that Mark had lost his battle it seemed such a terrible loss, that someone so driven by enthusiasm had gone. I'm sure though that the fight brought you even closer together, as it did for my husband Geoff and me, before he died of brain cancer. It looks like we were...

Having watched Grand Designs I felt compelled to see how Mark was doing because he and his wife had such loving personalities. His excitement at the build was contagious and he radiated so much warmth and humour. Im so sorry to his family for their loss and Im grateful Mark was able to spend some time in a house he lovingly restored/created. Best wishes to your family and may you rest in peace Mark.

We just watched a Grand Designs episode on ABC. Very sorry for your loss Karen, you must be so proud of Mark’s legacy and the energy and dedication he brought to all that he did. May he rest in peace. God bless you Karen, always.

Amazing man and vision amazing couple to bring it all together, what a wonderful legacy to leave behind.

What a wonderful couple!
Mark shared with us in the program he was thrilled to restore this historic building & give it more life therefore he lives on & on like the building that I hope gives you Sharon some comfort. Its just a shame we as humans can't stick around like some of the old builds. Yet I feel at times that Mark's spirit is around this building keeping an eye on things
