I just learned of Mark's passing yesterday and I am deeply saddened. I have known Mark for almost 20 years as a work colleague. We were friendly competitors and I always looked forward to the times we would see each other at annual benefit fairs throughout the year. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will greatly miss our friendship and conversation. Mark was a very special person and will leave a huge void.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Marks passing. I have very fond memories of Mark. Whether he was loaning me albums in Junior High, complementing me after a race in High School or making sure my studies were going well at Oregon, Mark was always a sincere, caring person.
