I first met Mark when he began flying into the airport where I worked near Boulder, CO. He was an incredibly passionate, dynamic, gentle man, whose love of life, especially his boys and the natural world, always shone through. My heart is with his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Such an unbelievably tragic loss.

I knew Mark from the mid 1960s at the Bar 717 Ranch, until moving from L.A. to Sonoma County in the early 70s. When Lee Pevsner called to tell me of this tragedy, needless to say, I was shocked. Mark's friendship is part of the fabric of who I am. Words can not express what not only I, but everyone that knew him, must feel.

Lazarus,has been dead for four days,and Jesus resurrected him to life! At Luke 11:13-Jesus cried out in a loud voice: Lazarus ,come on out! Jesus gives you the hope of seeing your loved one again. What a wonderful day that will be!
