Mr. Mark Arnold Block

I just learned of the passing of Mr Mark Block. He was such a positive influence to the kids he taught at Saydel. His knowledge was passed on to so many. He was a gifted man with a gentle teaching spirit that went far beyond the classroom. He will be missed. Condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and students of Mr. Block.

If the measure of a man is his positive influence on others, Mark, "Blocker," was as good as one gets. Also, given the immortality of a pedagogue, his positive impact lives eternally. God rest you, Mark, and comfort the many who love you.

My sympathies to all the family, I thought a lot of Mark being a fellow classmate of 70 from Renwick BV high school. May God give you comfort and strength during these hard days.

So sorry to hear about Mark passing away. I hope the passage at James 1:13 will be a comfort to the family in this difficult time.

Mark was a friend and colleague at AHS. He also
did an impression of Dan Aykroyed (as
Elwood Blues) that was unmatched. He will be greatly missed.
