Never had the honor to meet Mr Bolles but I am one lucky lady. I own a Markwood harp. He has a place of pride in my home and heart. I call him Marcus Harpus. Mr Bolles harp will bring joy and music for many years to come. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. DJ

I first met Mark back in 1978, when I visited his workshop as an aspiring harp builder. Mark was so generous with his time, spending almost a whole day showing me all the things he had learned and taught himself. His home was filled with various ingenious contraptions and devices to speed up the production of his harps, but at the same time keeping the hand crafted beauty in his wonderful harps.
