Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Marks passing today, June 28, 2020. Mary, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mark. Both of you were fine ministers at KFBC and I fondly remember him as Minister of Music. My condolences to you, your children, and grandchildren.
Sincerely,

My first encounter with Mark was when I was on the music search committee at Willow Meadows Baptist in Houston and we called him to be our Minister of Music. I followed Mark's ministry ever since, and I had the joy to see Mary and Mark again when he was serving a church in the Richmond Rosenberg area a few years ago. Mark asked me to play tympani on The Seven Last Words of Christ which brought back so many wonderful memories of his musicianship and skill as a conductor and choir master. ...

I am so very saddened to hear of Mark's passing. We were in college together. What I remember most about him is his humor. He will be missed.

I send my condolences to the family. Went to Paschal with Mark.

Im very sorry to hear of Marks passing. He was my junior high choir director at UBC Ft Worth in the early 70s. He was very caring and very patient with junior high kids! And a talented musician. My prayers for his family.

There arent adequate words to express the gift of Mark Borum to all he touched. His exuberance and commitment to excellence inspired others to give their best in worship and service to our Lord. Under his expert Minister of Music anointing, he fine tuned making a joyful noise, serving the Lord with gladness, and coming before His Presence with singing. I will be forever appreciative of the loving way he served, respected, and loved people of all cultures and races and brought out the song...

Yes, the photo of Mark shown with his obituary captures well his spirit of joy, friendship and kindness to those who knew him. Thanks, Mark, for your Christian spirit in serving so many at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Your ministry as a Chaplain to the many patients you visited and encouraged was very much appreciated. I always appreciated the opportunity of serving beside you and enjoyed our times of ministry together. You are now enjoying the presence of the Savior...the Savior who you...

Mark and Mary are part of my fond memories of our ministry at Western Hills in Ft. Worth.

The picture of Mark that the family has posted is exactly how we will all remember this darling, gifted man.
He was a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Mark was the epitome of a true worship minister and loved by all. Our love goes out to sweet Mary and the family. Peter & Rosemary Rosenberg
