Not sure what to say?

Dear Peggy & Family,
Mark's passing was very shocking and unexpected. Everyone at UAH will miss him deeply. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sadness and sorrow.

Dr. Bower was truly a great leader on UAH campus. He was an excellent advisor, mentor, teacher, and a friend to several students including me. He will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with you.

We consider it a privilege to have known Mark. He is a man of God devoted to our Lord, to his family, to the church and to UAH.

I believe he can be forgiven for being a Navy man especially since he did go to Airborne School at Ft. Benning. He was proud of his wings as evident during the funeral service pictures. I know he enjoyed getting to go back and show Matthew the jump towers during the UAV Competition last summer. Some day we look forward to Mark showing us a new place of...

Our Prayers are with Peggy and the Bower family. Mark was an outstanding faculty member at UAH.
He was respected for his caring for students and faculty. As a Vice President at UAH, I valued his advice and counsel.
We will miss him. We will always remember him.I am sure that he is now in a better place in God's Kingdom.

Mark Bower was a very special person.
We will remember his many contributions to UAH.
He made a real difference in the lives of many students and faculty.

In this difficult times, our thoughts and prayers are with the Bower family.

I'm sorry for the loss of Dr. Bower. I never had him as a professor but I knew of him through others. From what I heard, he touched many. God Bless.

Dr. Bower was my adviser during my masters program (1996) at UAH. But, I counted Mark as more than an advised, but as so a friend. He was a very caring man who gave much to his students. I am deeply saddened by his passing. However, I rejoice in the knowledge that he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His love and memories will be with you always.

Dr. Bower played a key role in the formation and sustainment of the Rotorcraft Systems Engineering Master’s Program that began in 2004. He was always encouraging, supportive and professional to each and every student. Since graduating in 2005, our class has kept in touch. The news of Dr. Bower’s passing spread quickly and was a saddening shock to us all. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family as we share this loss with them.
