Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Mark's passing - Mark & I were friends in our younger days . I remember like it was yesterday when he & I and another buddy went up on the north side of Indy and haul a Demolition Derby car home to his house !! He was truely one of the "Last Good Guys !! " He was a bass player & I fooled around on the guitar - we were going to rock stars !! May he rest in peace , Heaven has another great soul there now !!

Marlene and Family--Sorry to hear of Mark's passing.I recall selling photos to the both of you in the 1970's and later talking to Mark on numerous trips back to the speedway and other tracks. Hugh Baird Centerville,MA

Marlene, to you and your family, please know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers all week. As a young mechanic, Mark was a mentor to me. Through the years with my company, I was able to see Mark occassionally at the Indy races, and he would always ask about my wife and family. My only regret is that I did not keep in touch with Mark, yourself, and that I only met the children when they were small.
Dee and I hope that you and your family find peace.
God Bless Mark Bridges.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I meet Mark, when he trained me with Crucial. I was a little nervous about riding with someone I did'nt know for such a distance, within 5 minutes I was at ease I felt safe. It was like we had known each other forever.Janet Watson---I only knew Mark a short time. When he trained my wife she called me and said she could'nt wait for me to meet him. When we did meet we talked and talked his family was his world. He gave me alot of advice about my old car...

The amazing thing about Mark Bridges and all of his family everyone who ever met you all have the same feelings. What wonderful and caring people you all are. I will miss Mark so very deeply 1st off as a man I will always look up to. I appreciated knowing him and being in the trenches with everything we did together. If having a coffee and donut or sweating our tails off Mr. Mark would bring a smile to your heart! Love you buddy and your lovely family. God rest you.

Marlene, Mike & David - I'm so very sorry to learn of Marks passing for you, but happy his illness was only for a relatvely short period by some cancer victims. Guess that by his not making it, this was just not something he could wrench on and make it better him self.

Mark was a great man, and a welcome partner to share a pit area with as we did so many times at 16th Street and the Regional series. I always enjoyed and looked forward to being with you all every week, as we would...

Dear Marlene, I'm sending this for my mother Kathleen Meyer. She wanted you to know her thoughts are with you. My husband and I would also like to send our sympathy.

To the Bridges family, so very sorry to hear Mark passed. We were childhood friends from way back, Butch Stricker (gone) and I would come over to his house where his dad had built him a car and a track in his back yard. Truly, one of the few people I've ever known who knew what he wanted from the very beginning. So very proud of hi accomplishments and of course friendship. The racing family lost one of the most unassuming, hard working, straight arrows that ever graced the acreage at 16th. and Georgetown Rd.Working with Mark was a pleasure and his interest in each person he encountered was sincere. His family, the center of his heart, shared Mark and themselves with the racing family, for whom our hearts ache. God Bless them and thanks for sharing. Rest in a Peace well earned.
