Mark Edward Brookman

To the children of Mark Brookman,
I met your Dad while I was working a a care facility in Newton. Many times when I visited he would talk fondly about his children. He loved you very much and was so proud of all of you. He was looking forward to becoming a grandfather. Sometimes he did not feel like talking, so I would tell him stories from my life or current events. I feel so fortunate to have known him even if it was a short time, he was a tremendously courageous man and I think...

To the family of Mark,

He will certainly be missed. We pray to God that he is in a better place.

I have missed Mark's visits to the shop -- they were always anticipated with pleasure and we were never disappointed..his enthusiasm and great sense of humor have been sorely missed and will continue to be missed as we keep him in our memories the days ahead. Our sympathies go out to his family: his children, whom he adored, and his father, Leo, whom we have known for many years..the world is a poorer place without him..he has left it far too soon.
