Not sure what to say?

The news of Mark's passing hit me like a ton of bricks. He was my farrier for years and took such good care of my arab stallion Zarife.

Mark was a man that walked quietly on this earth but made a HUGE impact on all that he came in contact with. My heart aches for his family and friends. I am lucky to have had him in my life! Rest easy my friend.

I worked with Mark for years on the Fire department on the EMS side. I had tremendous respect for his work ethic and his determination to always make the EMS crews better as the medical Captain. His knowledge of EMS helped the town in ways that most people don't know but was very tangible to the EMS crews. He made me a better EMT and always enjoyed working with him. I will miss him and I am sorry for your loss Debra and the rest of his family. He will be remembered for a long time.

Mark was my farrier for many years, and will always be thought of as a very special person! When one of my horses would pass over the rainbow bridge, Mark would be first in line of offer sympathy and always made a memorial using the lost horses shoe with the appropriate initial welded inside the shoe. Those memorial horse shoes will hang at my barn as long as I am here. Another time, my neighbor who is suffering from a debilitating disease, had to put her aged horse down. Mark knew she...

Mark was the kind of person everyone would want for a friend but not everyone was fortunate enough to meet him. A gentle spoken truly nice person, and in the end that is as good as it gets. God bless you Mark. Randy and Deb Corcoran.

There really are no words to express the sadness we feel. He was much too young to leave us. We knew Mark from being at the barn on Saturday nights for the past 10 years whenever we made it to CT. He truly was one of the most wonderful people we have ever know. Our thoughts are with all of Mark's family.

Dear Deborah and Family,
I met Mark only a couple of times, through the Garthwaite family (I board my horse at their farm), and couldn't help but like him immediately. He was an incredibly nice man, as well as a wonderful and conscientious farrier. His genuine love of the horses came though so clearly! He will certainly be missed! My deepest sympathies and peace to you all at this difficult time.

You Gave so much and showed Humbleness too all those you touch there for you'll always be remembered in so many Hearts

Sending love and condolences to Abe, Caleb & Abbie. Even though it was many years ago, I have fond memories of my last visits with Uncle Mark. I feel sad & remorseful that I hadnt had the opportunity to see you again as I am much closer living in Toronto and had intended on coming down in the summer.

I served with mark on the Tolland PZC, and occasionally would see him around town in the years since. Always a smile and a kind word. Thoughtful and respectful to everyone. I am saddened to learn of his passing and grateful to have known him.
