Hi Trix,
I just wanted to let you know that Mike forwarded the email you sent to Dickinson Press (& others) after Mark passed away. Your extreme faith & strength are very inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the email & hearing how positive and faithful your family is, even in such a situation.
My own father died in a car accident when I was 13 years old. Now that I am grown & have a family of my own (Mike is now the age my father was when he died), I can better relate to...

Mark was wonderful to work and laugh with! Sad that's changed, but happy he is through with pain. Laurie & I will continue to pray for Mark's family. I know that you mattered so much to him (& us).

May you be surrounded by God's love, may it pour down over you in the low times that will come - and with every memory of Mark, may God bless you as you celebrate his life. I didn't even know him but I celebrate with you! Thank you for the privilege. All my love.

I just wanted to let you know that you will all continue to be in my prayers. Mark was a true gentleman until the bitter end. Trix, you married my favorite male cousin, kids - you had a father who was strong, brave, kind, gentle, giving, moral, funny, fair - I could go on and on - may his character live on in all of you. He will truly be missed.
