I was a childhood friend of Mark's in Wayne NJ. We went to elementary, jr. high, and high school together. I was most friendly with him in the elementary school days at Lafayette School. Those were the days when the TV shows Combat!, Rat Patrol, and 12 O'Clock High were on TV during the original TV series of each. We both enjoyed playing Army. I had a toy .45 pistol (1910 sidearm style). Mark really wanted it and traded me some things, maybe baseball cards, for it.
