Not sure what to say?

Mark and I were very good friends in Medical School. He was great looking, had a subtle wry sense of humor, was very smart and highly motivated. You couldnt help but like him. I felt that he had a charmed life and I still think of him fondly.

As evidenced by the number of fraternity brothers who have offered condolences, Mark was popular and highly respected by those of us who were fortunate to have him as a friend during the formative college years of our lives. He was the silent, behind the scenes leader who influenced many. He no doubt continued this role as he moved on in life.

It is certain that he leaves those he loved with many memories. When the sadness of his passing has lifted, may those memories be vivid and...

Dear Cheri and Family
We met years ago through riding, and we are so sorry to hear about Mark. We are thinking about you, and remembering some happy times.
Emily Galbraith and Sue Swindells (Emily's mum), and Charlie Galbraith.

Mark and I spent alot of time together in Medical School. I admired his quiet grace and inner peace. He was always able to see the good in every situation. His wry sense of humor was always a delight. He had everything going for him. Tragically, he left us far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cheri and the family at this difficult time.

Mark (Dr. Christensen) was a great teacher and surgeon: patient and eager to share his wealth of knowledge, thorough and caring of his patients, and - as all have noted-witty and enjoyable. His legacy lives on in me and in all the fellows that he helped train. I will always remember him as one of my very favorites. My prayers will continue to be with Cheri and the kids.

It's funny how Mark's positive influence on me has never been forgotten.

I admired his determination while in college. He had his priorities in the right place, while I was always struggling with mine.

His involvement with us (the Chi Phi brothers) always meant something extra special to me.

Rest in peace.

Cheri and family,
I work with your sister Pam, and we met when you helped with the Great Dane rescue. I feel like I know your family through Pam. I would like to express my sympathy to your and your family for your loss of Mark. Know that the geographic area and spiritual aspect of community of people who care about you is expansive

I have many fond memories of Mark and Chi Phi days. What a great guy he was. Much sympathy to the family at this time, Kent Gerlach Seattle Washington

Mark was my ski, fishing and racquetball buddy for years. His kindness and quiet wit will be missed by all.
