Barbara, my memories of Mark will never fade. It was so lovely to be in contact with him all these years in the challenging and rewarding medical device world, which he loved, as you know, from the 80's at CDRH throughout his varied and interesting career. I am very grateful for this and miss him terribly.

My condolences to Mark's family. Mark and I worked together in Device Evaluation at FDA. I saw him now and then at meetings where we had long talks about work and family issues. I had great respect for his opinions and counsel. I'll miss him.

To my wonderful high school friend Barbara and family - I am so, so sorry about Mark's death. I'm really glad my family and I had the chance to meet and get to know Mark when you lived in our town in Massachusetts for a year. I hope you know how many of us are out here thinking of all of you and sharing our sorrow, concern, and love for you.

My condolences to Mark's family. Mark was one of the nicest and most competent guys I ever met. (We worked together in medical device development.) He was extremely intelligent, truly detail oriented and went out of his way to offer his professional help whenever he could. In my opinion he was one of the most competent regulatory professionals in the whole medical device industry, where he will be missed. I will miss his laugh, and his great sense of humor.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Mark on a professional basis and remember him as a cheerful and pleasant person who was easy to work with. Please accept my condolences on this untimely loss.
