Spinelli - Ricciuti Funeral Home - Ansonia Obituary

ANSONIA: Mark R. Cocce, age 67, entered peaceful rest on July 5, 2023, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

Mark was born in Derby on June 19, 1956, beloved son of Mary Barbera Cocce of Ansonia and the late Guy J. Cocce. He was the owner and operator of the former MADJiC Colour Inc. and Valley Printing, both in Derby, until his retirement. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing and in his earlier years, bowling. He was a member of the Buckhorn Lodge in Maine and the St. Sebastian Club in Ansonia. Mark left his family and friends with many happy, fun memories as well as invaluable life lessons. His time with us will always be cherished.

Mark leaves a daughter, Alyssa A. Duley (Mark) of Seymour, a son, Joshua G. Cocce of Milford, a brother, Glenn J. Cocce (Ann Marie) of Oxford, four grandchildren, Madison G. Duley, Mason A. Duley, Guy J. Cocce and Nicholas J. Cocce, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mark’s funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements. To sign Mark’s guestbook or share a memory, please visit, www.spinelliricciutifh.com.

Single Memorial Tree

Enjoyed our last Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner together aunt Mary. Mark cooked up great manicotti. Him and I had a blast watching the football game together ( something I hardly ever do). Wish we could do it one more time. His gift will be used and remind me of him. Not very big in stature, but Mark had a big heart. Always saw him as a leader. He no longer suffers, and is at peace. Mark will be missed.

I am so sad to learn of Marks passing. He was a nice man and his family were our neighbors for years. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Maureen FitzGerald Lowman

Dear Mary: I'm so sorry to hear about Mark. We went to school together and I always remember Mark as being a kind soul with a big smile. May he rest peacefully:

Sincerely:
Rita St Jacques
