Not sure what to say?

When I first met Rev. Collier, during freshman orientation at Baldwin-Wallace College in 1976, he aspired for us to be instruments of God's love and to work selflessly to make the world a better place. Mark and Martha certainly did during their accomplished lives. Thank you!

Mark and I both graduated from Rocky River High in 1960. I got to know him best during our junior and senior years there and through letters during our freshman years at different colleges. He often came to shoot baskets at my house and we used to go on double dates to movies. He was a kind and thoughtful person, and always fun to be with. I'm so glad he was able to touch so many lives.

President Mark Collier was definitely one of a kind, a true gem! He was a caring, compassionate man that was liked and loved by all.... Rest In Peace!!

Mark had a gift that made everyone feel special, and that´s probably because he saw everyone as special. I have never met anyone like him - he was intellectual, compassionate, a great communicator, and he was always open to hearing new ideas. And he was funny! He just loved a good joke and he really enjoyed it when the joke was on him! I served on the faculty (psychology) for 16 years, primarily when he was Dean. How lucky I was to be at BW at the right time to cross paths with him in this...

Mark was the best academic dean I have had and one of the kindest humans I have known. He will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing.

Dr. Collier went out of his way to help my transition to college and gave great advice and support for me while I was finding my way.Very sincere man who saw the good in everyone. He made our world a better place. RIP Mark

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing, and my heartfelt condolences go out to Matthew, Trent, Courtney, and the rest of the Collier family. I was a faculty member at Baldwin Wallace and worked closely with Mark for many years. I always had the utmost respect for him. In addition to that, for some years his family attended the same church my family did, so I can recall the Collier kids as kids. I'll never forget the Sunday after church when Trent sat down at the piano in the sanctuary and...

My condolences to the entire family. What a great man heaven has gained.

May God comfort all of Mark´s loved ones. As pastor of North Olmsted UMC he introduced me to the Gorbals group in Glasgow, Scotland, which greatly blessed my life. Thank you, Mark!
