Mark was born December 14, 1958 in Ringgold and passed away August 8, 2013 in Shreveport, LA.
He attended the Louisiana State School for the Deaf in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a loyal LSU Tiger fan, loved to fish, and always looked forward to attending birthday parties for all his great nieces and nephews and all family holiday gatherings.
Mark fought a valiant fight the past several months, having suffered two heart attacks, two hip fractures, uncontrollable diabetes, as well as numerous other illnesses. But Mark was content if he had plenty of Diet Dr. Pepper, sugar free ice cream and McDonald McDoubles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Twain and Edna Earle Barnette Corley and a sister, Cynthia Louise Corley Todd Elliott.
Left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Glenda and her husband, Larry Taylor of Bossier City, LA, Suzanne and her husband, Robert Honeycutt of Hot Springs, AR, and Mary Corley Vascocu of Ringgold, LA; nephew, Tony Chandler; nieces, Amy Bates Panzer, Michelle Todd Pietsch, and Jennifer Vascocu; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family expresses their appreciation to the loving and caring staff of RoseView Nursing Home, where Mark resided the past 13 years.
