In memory of Mark Cort

We know only a small part of another person, but even these small parts can endure in memory and in meaning. My most vivid memories of Mark are not the not the newest but some of the older memories, long ago, when we were growing up, in high school, in Red Hook, and the few years after. I remember Mark as a larger-than-life athlete and as a swell fellow.

As I think of Mark back then, I remember him ambling along the way with Bill Englert or Bill...

Very sorry to hear of his passing. My memories are of a good friend, a good teammate and a good guy. My condolences.
