Not sure what to say?

We met Mark at fundraising school in Colorado as we were preparing to go to Russia with the Navigators in 1995. We were excited to meet someone who was going to the same place we were and that was the beginning of our friendship. Once we got to Russia we met Cathy and were so excited when in our second year there they got engaged in what used to be our flat (we had gone back to the US for the birth of our son). We were privileged to be able to attend their wedding and though we hadn't had...

I grew up with Mark, first at the same church, then at Terre Haute South Vigo High School, and through college at Rose Hulman, taking almost all the same classes together.

I always respected and appreciated Mark, and I'm sad to see him leave this world... but I know that he was a true Christian, and so I have no doubt that I'll see him again, soon enough, in a much better place!

I remember Mark Crowder very well, having been school classmates and childhood friends through the 6th grade at Thornton Elementary in Terre Haute, IN. I had met Mark a few times over the years, the last time being at Hawthorn Park in Terre Haute several years ago we had a good chat about our lives, careers, and memories. Mark and I participated in many activities together including the Boy Scouts. I well remember his high intellect and solid faith in Christ.

I knew Anne and...

Mark married my sister, Cathy, in 1998 and has been an amazing husband, Father and friend to many! Cathy told me that in their entire life together he has never once raised his voice or said an unkind word. He passed into glory and his absence will be deeply felt by his family, church, work, and community. We look forward to the day we meet again in heaven! His resounding belly laugh will be heard across the heavens.

Fond memories of Mark in his early days at SRNL - - always ready with a smile and a kind word.

Offering my deepest condolences for your loss. And may you receive the much needed comfort from God.
