Mark Cywinski

I probably remember Mark from Preston Victoria when we were about 17 and went to rock dances 3 or 4 times a week. His nickname was Swazza. He walked my future wife down the aisle when I got married, so we were close when we were growing up.

It is still so surreal that my father is gone. Not a year goes by that makes it any easier that my dad is not here.
I think about him every day and miss him so deeply to the core of my soul.
I wish so much that he was here to see his grandchildren as teenagers. He would get such a kick out of them and spoil them rotten! I feel so sad for them that they miss out on what a rare, exceptional being he was.
I love you forever Dad.

Marc was nothing short of a fashion industry legend. I was lucky enough to be a designer for him for quite a while and he taught me more in those years than anyone in my whole career life. I traveled to Europe and Japan with him many times and will never forget our amazing times in Rome. I loved to travel with him. What a genius, what fun, what a leader, what a great man. What a great man he was.
I just had only just found him in Facebook before I discovered he had sadly died.
He gave me my first break in the fashion industry and I will never forget the experiences he gave me.
He had a huge influence on my life and I shall never forget him.

My Father Mark was one of those rare, unique beings that you cross paths with in life, if you are lucky. I cannot imagine growing up with any other Father. I feel blessed for receiving his love, care, kookiness, support, and never ending laughter.
