Not sure what to say?

So many years have passed. Among my fondest memories were the days that we played little league and pony league together. You were the pitcher, I was the catcher, your father was the coach. We all grew together and learned to be the best that we could be. Best of all, we had fun. I miss you.

Missing you now, as always. In my heart forever. You were a very dear friend and an overall amazing man. May your legacies last forever.

So many years later but I wanted to send this short note to the children of Mark as i have stumbled on this page. I was a classmate at Taft. If you kids ever find yourself having a down day, please take warmth in remembering that your dad was bright light, and fairly noisy at times. If you walked into a classroom and your dad was already there, you knew it. He was always excited, funny and his hands and arms would often fly upward with his eyebrows in excitement over something you had failed...

Even after all of these years, I have not forgotten you, Mark, and never will, my college pal.

Mark, your smile will always be in my heart.

As is wise to do from time to time, I searched my name on the Internet. When looking at page three, your legacy page was there. Have had several "505" moments this week. You are fondly remembered and greatly missed.

I was just cleaning out some boxes and found my old Taft HS yearbooks. I looked at some of the folks I knew and liked way back when. I saw Mark's picture. Then I saw he was a member of student council. So I googled Mark and what sorrow to see he passed away 8 years ago. Mark was one of those genuine nice guys in high school. Very bright, too. We weren't close but we would hang out and talk a lot at school. So sad to hear of his passing.

Waiting to fly to Denver for BTE clinical team meeting. SWA just made announcement about a flight 505. Was asked the time last night, when I looked it was 505. Dake, you are always with us. Miss you much dear friend!

To Jacki...that special number "505" has come up a few times since Mark's memorial party and each with Mark's signature on it so that I know he is still out there keeping a special eye on all of us. Thanks for your loving memories of my very special brother. Yes, he is missed!!
