Mark, Clark, and I grew up together in Dover Del. We did the things guys did back in the "olden" days. We camped by Silver Lake, we had dirt clod fights, played "war" with BB guns, and played organized football together for 4 seasons. Along with other guys from our neighborhood we played sandlot baseball, football, basketball, and wiffle ball. I first met Mark at a Northeast SARE conference in Vermont. I also remember eating crab with Mark and Caragh in Maryland on a recruiting trip to entice Caragh to come back to the University of Maine. The whole night Mark tried to convince me that crab was better than lobster! I also wondered why Caragh was not having a beer!
