Not sure what to say?

Mark was a frequent visitor/customer at the Miriam Switching Post where I volunteer. As another commenter said he was a walking encyclopedia. Our last conversation in early November was about Japanese wood block prints . He had a thorough knowledge and more importantly, shared that knowledge with an open heart . His background in art and the art market was extensive. I am sorry he left so soon. As difficult as his health was, he made the world better.

I first met Mark at a middle school softball game circa 1969 when we were both eleven years old. We were adjacent infielders-he played shortstop and I was on third base-and we laughed and talked between plays. Even then I was struck by how extraordinary he was. Does anyone remember that Mark was something of a prodigy on the French horn? While still in middle school, he was drafted to play with the high school band. I haven't seen Mark since the 80s, but was so sorry to hear of his passing....

I´ve known Mark since we were in our late teens. He was always a great friend to me, an extraordinary person, and without a doubt the best singer I´ve ever known. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him, and to be associated with him in many bands and musical projects through the years. His intellect, wisdom, talent and unique view of life, is how I will always remember him, and I will never forget the music, conversations, and good times we shared. Those memories will live on as...

Mark and I grew up together and from a very young age shared the love of music and spent, countless hours, days, months and years enjoying our sessions and friendship. Mark had a special talent and wonderful family and will be missed dearly. May he always reside in that special place with god!!!!!
