Not sure what to say?

I learned today from a friend and co-worker at Consumers Energy of Mark's passing. I knew Mark as the Operating Superintendent at Karn 3&4 and had dozens of meetings and talks with him on his unit's operation and their competitive position. I always had the utmost respect for him in his role at the plant, as well as for him as a person. This friend will be missed. My sincerest sympathy to his family and friends. May God comfort you in your time of loss.

As Plant Superintendent at Karn 3&4 in Bay City, I had the privilege of working with Mark from 1989 to 1996. He was a major player in revitalizing the plant, converting an oil-burning peaking plant into one that was fueled with a combination oil and natural gas. The sophisticated control system was the first of its kind, and it ushered in a whole new era in power plant controls. Mark was one of the most respected and well liked operations superintendents in the Consumers Power Company's bulk...

i grew up next door to mark and know he was a great person to know, i have fond memories of playing basketball for hours on end in our driveways. my deepest sympathies for his family

I was so saddened when I heard of Mark's passing. The mention of his name brought back such instant fond memories of our teenage years at Hemlock High. My deepest sympathies to all his family.

I worked with Mark at Consumers Energy back in the 90's and thought of him as a nice man. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Dibert family at this time.

Our entire family sends it deepest sympathies.

Sorry for your loss of your son. Mark was a good friend and classmate. I have good memories of playing sports with him, especially baseball. I wish I could have spent more time with him after high school doing the outdoor activities that he also enjoyed. Hemlock High School classmate, David Johnson.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Mark is a peace now.

I am so very sad to see this. My prayers and sympathy to all of you. I have so many wonderful memories of Mark while we were growing up across the street from one another. He was always very sweet to me when we so occasionally saw each other as adults. Love, Julie Hagerman Forbes
