I remember the chance I had to meet Mark Ecker as he was recovering at Walter Reed Hospital I believe in May of 2008. He walked while pushing his wheelchair, determined to be independent with his two new prosthetic legs. He was truly a very remarkable young male. I recall the last time I had spoken with he and his dad in my office the afternoon before he had passed in the car accident. God Bless, you Mark and please continue to watch over us all.
