Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Ellis passing. He was one of the most wonderful doctors that my Mother ever had. His caring and empathy for his patients was so obvious. And my Mother loved him dearly. This world will surely miss him.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Ellis. I started with him in williamsburg and followed him to gloucester. Dr. Ellis was a wonderful doctor, and very good in explaining what you don't understand and very caring. I loved Dr. Ellis and will miss him and his smile very much.

My sincerest condolences go out to the family of Dr. E. He was a wonderful doctor to work with and deeply caring of his patients. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Dear Lynn and family,
I don't know where to begin to express to you my deepest sympathy and the deep loss I feel right now. I loved Dr. Ellis almost from the moment I met him about six years ago. Almost immediately I sensed his warmth, his humor, but most importantly his care and concern for his patients and the staff who worked for him to keep his patients filled with hope. He had just opened PCI only a few months after Pfizer transferred me to Virginia as a new Oncology Sales...

My father, Danny Burns, was a patient of Dr.Ellis. He was diagnosed with CLL in 1995. With the help of Dr. Ellis, he fought the good fight and was called home on May 12th, 2009. Over the years I've heard Danny speak of Dr. Ellis and his staff with fondness and sincere appreciation. A few months before his passing Danny penned a letter that was posted in the Gazzette-Journal to let the community know what a kind and caring man Dr. Ellis was. In Danny's own words: "I met Dr. Ellis in 1995 in...

I am a cancer survivor who moved from Northern Virginia to this area. Dr. Mark Ellis was the oncologist I was referred to. I found him very professional but more importantly, he gave me confidence that despite being a new oncologist for me, would ensure that I was carefully watched over for any reoccurance. I saw him regularly in the beginning and as time passed, less frequently. I believe he gave me excellent care and the confidence to look forward again to the life I hoped to live...

Dear Lynn and family,
It was a great shock to hear of Mark's passing last week when my husband and I were visiting Williamsburg but I was so glad to be able to attend the memorial service on Friday to give thanks for his life of caring and compassion. When we moved to Williamsburg from England in 1994 little did we know that just 6 weeks later I would be referred to him as a patient and I have given thanks every day since then for my good fortune.
Thank you to all of you for sharing...

Dear Lynn and Family,

I am sorry for your loss. I would like to thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with the rest of the world. Dr. Ellis was an inspiration to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by everyone. I have truly been blessed to be a part of the dream that he had and I will do my best to treat each patient has he did and to work hard to keep the dream alive. May God bless you and give you strenght to get you through this great loss. You are in my thoughts and...
