I remember meeting Mark in California, I remember his dreams of being a Pilot, Aircraft Mechanic and his first love Racing Motorcycles. He was a great man and loved his family.

Mark was one of my first very special patients. I loved our little chats about normal life.. Like our mutual enthusiasm for airplanes. I was always saddened and excited at the same time whenever he came in to the infusion clinic. He wasn't your usual patient. Mark just said it like it was. One of my favorite traits of his! I hated that he had to keep coming back, but loved how he brightened the room! Then when he saw me in the clinic and saw that I, too, had been stricken with...

I am only sorry that our family was not there for the service. There are so many of us here in Southern California. I know the family is so very sad without Mark, but I am happy he is in no pain. Also, Sophia's observation about God looking after her Uncle Mark touched me, but I believe Mark is teaching others how to enjoy their time up there. He knew how to do so many things and I know he enjoyed them all. He moved away so long ago that my memories of him are mostly as a sweet son and...
