My favorite "roomie". Having Mark move into my house with Russel and I was a most memorable time. My favorite was Saturday mornings, when it was your duty if you were the first up (but only after 10 AM) that you start frying a pound of bacon and make a pitcher of mimosas. The other two (or more) would be front and center at the dining room table for our little brunch with more bacon if more people. If I happened to be working out of state, it just meant more for them.

My heart is breaking for the loss of my former neighbor and good friend. Mark and my brother Todd formed a band in our old neighborhood and played in our garage...which we loved and they were quite good. In recent years, our fav time to stop at the Labor Club was any time Mark was bartending. You would walk in the door and be greeted with that huge smile, a hug, and lots of jokes, stories and laughter...and a pretty awesome Bloody Caesar. The entire town will miss that man. He was...
