Not sure what to say?

I was visiting people in California and they were excited about the Bird pitching.

You came out no where and electrified baseball ! All for love of the game ! I saw you mow down the Angel's in Anaheim ! I wont ever forget you BIRD !

I know this is years late, but just happened to see this page. I knew when it happened being from MA. You were so fun to watch. My father was a die hard Detroit Tigers fan so I often watched the games. Best wishes to all your family and friends.

He was an extremely likeable fellow and the kind of guy you would love to have as a...

He is the reason I watch baseball today. I loved the way he put his heart in the game. Will always be remembered all my life as the greatest pitcher in baseball.
