Mark William Flynn

Got to know Mark at McGill and later at Spring Hill College and through visits to Loyola. He was passionate about the arts and was a font of knowledge about the music of Louisiana, introducing me to all the New Orleans' greats. Thanks for sharing your love for the rich musical heritage of the region and for your friendship.

I just learned of Mark's passing. I attended Little Flower School with Mark. He was always a friendly and kind person. I remember how smart and humorous he was. While I was a sophomore in high school, I dated Mark's brother Steve. Years later, Steve and I renewed our friendship while our children attended Little Flower School together. Mark was living in New Orleans during that time. I loved reading Mark's obituary. What a remarkable person he was! I send my condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear of Mark's passing. A truly unique man. Didn't he also play the tuba?
