Mark A. Franklin departed this life on Saturday, December 27, 2014. He was born on February 28, 1971 to Jack and Carrie Franklin, Jr.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Aleta Franklin; two children, Da'Jha and Marquis Franklin; two sisters, Tracy Hamm and Angie West; one brother, Jack Franklin III and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. His remains will be open to the public one hour prior to the service at the church. The family is receiving friends and the cortege will assemble at 1078 Cedar Gate Rd., Monroe.
