MARK GALLAGHER

It was a sad time for our family when we first met Mark three years ago. He visited us when our daughter and son-in-law lost their first child at birth. Mark's comforting words expressed God's all-encompassing love for all of us. Since then we have sought out the Masses where Mark would be delivering the homily. A man who touched many is deeply missed.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Deacon Mark Gallagher. He was such a gentle soul and you could sense the Holy Spirit working through him. Our family was privileged to have him baptize our two nephews at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Ocean City. Prayers go out to your family during this difficult time.

Saddened to learn of Mark's death, but certain he is now in the loving arms of God, enjoying his just reward. He was a formidable force for justice and truth in the public policy arena, a role model for me. I will never forget the time he called my office and told the receptionist it was "Mr. Gallagher."
