Not sure what to say?

Just found that he passed away. Mark Gamble was my first squad leader in the U.S. Army Honor Guard. He was our boss, teacher, protector, and most of all he was our friend. Full of energy, we hated him at times ( usually when we were getting smoked) but always respected him. He taught us about honor, integrity and discipline. He was a Sergeant of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier before being our squad leader. Like a father, he would do anything for his boys in the third herd. When...

I'm so sorry. I know you weren't ready to go home but he called you anyway. Your work here is done. You will live in our hearts with wonderful memories. We love you and will miss you dearly.

Gina,

I know it's been a while since we've last seen you...Barry and I do try to stop by whenever we're in the area...I was totally shocked to hear the news of Mark's passing. It was only last night when Freddie told us...I'm sorry that we weren't there for you, but you and the kids are definitely in our prayers... We will see you soon... Take care of yourself, and although it may be hard, know that God called him home, now he's truly living!

Gina,
We spent only a few short years getting to know you and Mark as neighbors and what a blessing it was. What great barbecues you had and Mark always had fish for us knowing that we do no eat meat. We were tremendously saddened by the new of Mark's death, but we rejoice in his "home going." Do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can to do to help you. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Love Cecile and Nikongo BaNikongo.

Gina, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children at this time. We are very sorry for your loss. Just take comfort in knowing that God is forever with you and He will give you the strength you need.

Ms. Tulia, Mike and Dot
