Mark Goode gave me the opportunity to succeed to the highest level of my career when he appointed me to be the District Engineer for the Paris District of the Texas Department of Transportation. This was followed by the District Engineer of the Dallas district and the Executive Director of the Department. His guidance, friendship and encouragement will never be forgotten. A truly magnificent man. God rest his soul.

Oh, so sad to hear of Mark's death. We were neighbors of Lucille and Mark from 1990 until 2015. We loved them both dearly and I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family.
