Not sure what to say?

My heart weeps for my Grattan cousins. Mark was a treasure in the family. Many prayers from all of us.

I meet Mark through Mayo clinic in La Crosse I am the door attendant that opens up each morning. He would come in each morning and talk to us, always ask how our day or weekend was. It is just so hard to believe that such a polite gentleman is gone. My deepest condolences and sympathy to the Grattan family

I am saddened to loose another friend. His heart may have given out, but know still beating in mine.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Our families were very tight back on Larch Avenue and we had many adventures with Mark on the hill, at the pool, riding bikes, kickball, climbing trees, leaf piles, sledding, throwing snowballs, sleep-overs, Saturday morning cartoons, old Atari games... you-name-it. Then we all grew up and moved around, but your own memories stretch forward with Mark for decades. May those many good memories outweigh the sense of loss. Godspeed Mark.

John and family,
I am so sorry for your loss of your brother. Please know my prayers are with you and your family. May your brother rest in peace.

Shared many adventures with him on our motorcycles

I read Mark's short version of his obituary in the paper today and was compelled to visit the Schumacher-Kish website because I was in disbelief.
I met Mark while working as a Door Attendant at the Surgery and Cancer Center. I would always get the doors for him when he would be hauling carts full of construction materials either in or out of the building. I would tell him he needed to put me on his payroll. When I'd mention to him that I never received my check, he would always come...

I will be praying for the peace, comfort and strength that transcends all understanding with the loss of your loved one.

Oh, I so well remember Mark at Crucifixion, and all the Grattan’s. That smile and always kind and willing to help. May God bless you at this difficult time. Tell his stories and his adventures. Special prayers for Jac!
