Not sure what to say?

Not a lot more to say about one of my oldest friends. I think about him regularly, especially on February 24th. Many years of joy did I get out of Fast Eddie. I will cherish his friendship forever. I always seem to think about Eddie during stressful times in my life. We were so close and he always had an answer to my issues. What a great person. Always in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark was a student at Cheyenne Mountain High School while I was Director of Athletics. He was a very good
student, an accomplished High School athlete, and a young gentleman. I considered him a good friend.

Fast Eddie was a great guy who I knew in high school. I remember him as a good athlete, super smart, with a great wit, and a good friend to my boyfriend at the time, Ed Murphy. We often double dated and had lots of fun together. I lost touch with mark after high school but was not surprised to learn how successful hes been professionally and personally. Mark Hays, a special guy who was loved by many and who continues to be missed by all.

I will miss him every Sunday morning. He sat in the back pew at church, and I always looked to see if he was there. Peace be with you, Mark.

Mark was great friend to me and an excellent friend and volunteer to the ANA. His dedication and knowledge are sorely missed.

From Doug Heyliger

I am a newer member of the 'Lunch Bunch', which includes current members, Jack & Keith, Rob Middleton, Skip Loo, Peter Slothower. We saw Mark virtually every week and he was founding member, roughly 13 years ago.

We played hockey together in junior & senior high school, which was the start our friendship.

Mark also went by the nickname, 'Commando', one of three, which included my (late) twin brother, Don and myself. We were back in Colorado...

A really all around good guy, I met when Peoples Natural Gas bought out Plateau Natural Gas in 972. I always enjoyed his wit and smile. He will be sorely missed and my prayers are with Kathy and the rest of his family. God Bless!

The days will never be as bright with the untimely passing of my longtime friend, Mark, aka Mr. Fast, aka Fast Eddie. His humor was contagious and his credentials fully document his intellect in the natural gas industry.

I met Mark and some other Cheyenne graduates in 1967 when we were working at the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo. A summer job couldn't have been more fun.

We spent time together through our college years and until his job required him to ,relocate.

Upon retiring Mark renewed our friendship, which lasted until his untimely passing. A better friend could not be had. I'll miss you Mark,
