Mark ""MC"" Hemingway

Mark (MC) Hemingway was born on May 19, 1940 to Pank and Beatrice Hemingway in Mississippi. Mark was one of seven brothers; Jessie J. Hemingway, Mark"MC", R.A.(Ray) Hemingway, Pank, Jr., Frank Hemingway, Leroy(Menina), Robert Lee(Deceased), Ernest Lee(Deceased) and five sisters, Della Archie of Detroit Michigan, Annie Barnett of Chicago, IL., Eva Mae Hemingway of Bellwood, IL.,Hattie Jones of Riverdale, IL., Everlena Hemingway of Chicago, IL. Mark attended elemantary school and Elzy High School in Mississippi and worked as a farm hand along with his parents on the plantation where they lived. Mark also worked at the cotton gin near Itta Bena, Mississippi. Mark was an out doorsman, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting to help provide for his family. Mark also worked as a migrant laborer in Florida picking grapefruit, oranges and coconuts during winter months. Mark later migrated to St. Louis, Missouri and then to Chicago, Illinois. Mark was special, in that he was born with a developmental disability, but regardless of this he was loving and committed to his family. He will be dearly missed by his family.
