Not sure what to say?

My most sincere condolences to the Hermes family. I know he truly will be missed by all who knew him. We spent many days together growing up at EIU and as Sig Taus. May peace be found in Jesus' loving arms.

Dear Sue, I was so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He is in a better place. May God give you the strength to carry on. Love, Tim Culp

Fraternity brother, college roomate, good friend and best man are just a few of words that describe what Mark meant to me. The great memories will last forever and he will never be forgotten.
Keeping the Hermes Family in my thoughts and prayers... Please accept my deepest sympathies.

The entire Hermes family has my deepest sympathy. Mark was a special guy , a great friend and a great leader. He was my role model growing up as I was a year behind him in school. He joined and led student council in high school and I followed in his foot steps. He went to Eastern Il Univ and I did too only because he was there. We were Sig Taus together and had too many adventures to list . May he rest in peace after a life well lived.

My deep condolences to Sue and Cindy. May you find comfort in your memories of a life lived.

Please accept my deepest sympathy as you mourn your loss. May God bless and comfort you during this time. I will always remember Mark for his kindness and funny wit and for all of those times we spent racing downhill cars, he will be missed

Mark was a genuinely good man...grew up as neighbors. I remember the days he would take me and my brother to get ice cream cones from DQ, just because he was nice. He's loved and missed.

I was a fraternity brother with Mark at Eastern Illinois University. It seemed a natural thing for him to be friends with everyone he met and I'll always remember his quick and easy smile and bright attitude. No doubt he will be missed by many who loved him.

Mark was a big brother to me, and a fine man he will be missed.
