Not sure what to say?

Thoughts of my brother Mark still pop into my mind weekly or more often. He would have turned 66 two days ago on Monday the 19th.We had some great times together. We hunted, fished, and skiied together most of our lives.I miss him a lot.

Dear Hoffman Family,

I am so sorry for your loss; Mark was always so very kind, such a special person. It has been many years since we spoke (Hoffman Brokerage days). I worked for Leslie Paper in Minneapolis, John your Uncle was actually my boss for many years, even after I transferred to Dallas, Texas.

My deepest condolences to your family,
Betty Kealy

Memories sustain us. Basketball between the Markers & Lukers. Double dating at Cretin. Avoiding trouble most times. So many good times. Mark was a good friend and a strong presence for many of us.

He was very fond of hunting dogs and loved to foster those for Last Hope. His brain tumor changed his life and we will miss him!

I am deeply saddened at the news of Mark's passing.

I'm sitting here with a smile on my face recalling many fond memories of our times together: St. Mary's dorm life, sharing apartments in St. Paul, pheasant hunting, Friday nights, and our chats about Cretin vs Fargo Shanley football games.

I'll never forget the time one of his neighbors had a fire which displaced them from their home. I was the engineer on the fire truck and I remember Mark coming out to offer food/water to people and later bringing the family clothes and shoes to wear.

The memory of that act of kindness will never leave me. Nor...

Mark was my friend. He may no longer be here, but I hold on to so many memories of Mark, that I should change the wording of that to, Mark is my friend.
