You're all in my thoughts, and I'm sending all my love. Mark was a good man, and influenced many of us to be civic minded and engaged. His legacy will remind us to right wrongs as we continue our journeys.

Scott and I have all the Hogans in our thoughts this week as you go through this very sad time. We are so glad we had the great opportunity to meet Mark's Dad and sit at their table dining with he and Linda, Mark, Jamie, Max, Paige and our grandchildren. It is a memory we hold dear. Our prayer is for you to find peace. Love, Kelly and Scott Bradley

I met Mark during his 1970 campaign for Governor of Colorado. His passion throughout the campaign and his grace in defeat were important in my decision to become an active member of the Democratic party. I cherish my memories of this remarkable man.

I have known Mark since his days at Georgetown. He and my brother Tom were best friends and roommates in college.
I always had the greatest admiration for him. My sympathy goes out to his family. He is in my prayers. May his soul and all he souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Jay Dolan

I knew Mark through my professor and his mentor, Bill Leavel and that's when I last saw him, at Bill's memorial. But my favorite memory is the time I took my young niece to the circus and in the midst of that huge crowd I heard my name shouted out. It was Mark. He always remembered. And I will remember him.
