Not sure what to say?

He loved his Cherry Pie!! He is greatly missed by many. Him and John are playing Euchre in Heaven.

I worked with Mark at the Sheriff's Dept. and always remember his kind ways. A true gentleman. Rest in Peace.

My sincere sympathies to the Hoogerhyde family with Mark´s passing. We grew up a few doors apart and attended West Side Christian and Christian High together. We used to call each other "cousin" because my grandfather was Martin Hoogerhyde. Not sure if there was a close relation, or not. Mark was a good friend.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I will always remember Mark every time I make a cherry pie. He will be greatly missed. Sending our love and many hugs to Jackie and family.

I had the honor of working with Mark at the Sheriff´s department. He was someone who could be counted on to always have your back. Everyone was a better person for having known him and to experience his sense of humor. Your family is in our prayers.

Mark was a true kind man who I had the privilege to work with at KCCF. A wonderful & trusting man who will be missed by many people. The Lord has your family in his hands to comfort them & may Mark rest peacefully.

My deepest sincere condolences Jackie and all. Beyond the gate there is happiness and rest. May there be comfort in the thought that Our Loving God knows best.

My sympathies to the Hoogerhyde family. I worked with Mark at the Sheriff Department and I can honestly say he was a great coworker! RIP Mark

We were saddened to learn of Mark´s passing. His family lived a couple doors away when we were kids and went to W. Side Christian School together. I was surprised to see him when I started at the County. He was always helpful and had a smile for everyone. Praying for peace and grace for his family during this most difficult time. God bless you all.
