It has been a number of years since Mark passed. Yet his name still comes up on conversation. He was one of the best. I remember being only 21 and a few weeks sober when someone handed me a tape of one of Marks talks. He was truly an anonymous hero. Only today his name come up in conversation and I felt moved to leave this message. His flame burns on.

Thank you Mark I got sober 8.5 years ago..I just started down a new path wanting it to be based on a current experience Thank you for helping me see that and to WAKE UP in my own life and recovery I listen to you every day and just ordered your book Thank you for sharing the most clear concise message I heard of you when I first came in and was afraid of you because I thought you were yelling at me haha turns out you were just carrying a message that I wasn´t ready to fully hear or see...
