I just heard of this unfortunate news. My thoughts go out to your family and all that knew you. Mark, we sure had some times when I was your office nurse in Austin and I appreciate all the times we spent together. You truly were one of a kind.

what? I just am dumbfounded. I was looking him up on facebook and this came up. He was an incredible friend to me. He was so genuine, so kind, so soft spoken. I am totally shocked. He is watching us now. He is probably so awed by God and Heaven. I will miss him for advice from time to time.

Dr. Iannini was a wonderful and learned physician. His patients were so fortunate! I had the pleasure of working with him in his Tucson rhuematology laboratory--doing diagnostic testing. It was a very nice lab and unfortunately short lived due to the current medical funding challenges.
I send my best to all of his family and friends. He was truly an innovator of our times!
Sincerely,
Christine Mavis

Just today, I learned about the sudden passing of Mark and was deeply saddened. I had the pleasure of knowing Mark during my residency at Danbury Hospital rotating through Rheumatology. He was an excellent physician and teacher; passionate and caring about his work. I will always be very grateful for his guidance and friendship. My sincere sympathy to Paul, George and all the Iannini family.
