Not sure what to say?

To the entire Kenney family, I am saddened to hear of Mark's passing. He was a larger than life personality with a sense of humor to match. There is nothing as comforting to a patrolman, sergeant or lieutenant, as having an "old school" captain at the helm. He was fun to work for and with, and he will be remembered fondly by us all. Respectfull Submitted by Paul Browne

My condolences to the Kenney family. I first met Mark as a Sgt assigned to the academy staff when I was appointed to the SPD. He was an outstanding instructor who helped shape and mold Class 986. I was fortunate enough to work under him when he was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to the patrol squad midnight - 8 am shift and again as a Captain. He had a great sense of humor " it´s all an illusion " however, was always able to teach you valuable lessons to help both on and off the job....

Condolences to the Kenney family. It sounds like Mark lead a good life of service to his family and our community while teaching and training throughout his life. Mark will be remembered by the Technical High School Class of 1965.

Our sympathy to Marks' family. I got on the job with Mark and we both worked with him and for him at some time. He was always a pleasure to be around and we both have a lot of respect for him. May he rest in peace. Eddy & MaryJane (Goulet) Kalish

So many memories of Mark, who for some of us was known as Farmer... his presence and friendship was huge ... he's left us with bigger hearts from having known him.

To the family of my longtime friend,co worker, and boss,Mark Kenney who i worked with throughout my career at the SPD.As a cadet just starting out I had the honor of working in the DB on the midnight shift, with Mark and learned many valuable lessons that I was able to carry on with not only at the PD but also throughout my life, and almost always there was humor involved. He taught me that when most things are very bleak, when there's a smile or a laugh, the sun still comes up.And that's how...
