Mark Killar

I was a friend and classmate knowing Mark from Transfiguartion Grade School thru Graduation at Mount Pleasant High School Class of 1970.We had stayed in touch all those years and he was quite introspective on all topics that we discussed. He truly was a kind,gentle,and compassionate human being.The world and I are saddened by his passing but we are and will always be impressed by his outlook on life and caring for those individuals in his life. So sorry to hear of Mark's passing.

So sad to hear that Mark is no longer with us. He was my "paddling " buddy for years with Bill Cannon. We spent a lot of fun time together on and off of the river. A free spirit, a caring, inquisitive and intelligent person. It was a honor to know him and he will always be remembered as one of a kind.

I'm so sorry Killar Family! Mark helped answer a lot of questions for me when the organization I work for was just getting starting in water conservation/restoration. I'm not a scientist, so Mark's patience and ability to explain things was greatly appreciated.

Mark was such a kind and inviting person. He was a true gentleman and pragmatist. He always greeted me with a smile and was quick to share a laugh.
