Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lappe, Dana and Scott:
My sister, Cheryl, and I were very saddened to hear of your recent loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have very fond memories of working with Mr. Lappe (Dana, old habits die hard, I never could get around to calling him Mark) for the Westchester School District. I remember his always smiling face and positive attitude. He was a wonderful friend, who always took time to stop and talk and. I am so sorry for your loss.

Lappe Family,
I worked as a counselor at MacNeal School for the past three years. I recently took on a new job and was saddened to hear of Mark's passing while out of town. Being a fellow Sox fan I often bonded with Mark and spent countless hours discussing sports, life, and family. Getting to know his perspective on all three made many of us better people because of it. Although he loved his many hobbies his passion for life solely resided in his great love for all of you. I believe...

I am a teacher at MacNeal School where Mark worked. He continues to be deeply missed by all on our faculty. I miss seeing him around the building everyday. Some of my favorite memories of him are how proud he was of his daughter for being in the Air Force and the Sox winning the championship. His newspapers are still on the door at school from their run this past season. He was great with our students and always made both them and myself laugh. My thoughts continue to go out to his family...

Dear Barb & Dana,
I was so sorry to hear about Mark. I know it has been a long time but Mark and my dad (Fred Bruggemeyer) were good friends at one time and I know my dad sends his condolences as well. I can remember them sitting at our kitchen table just talking and laughing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Love,
Kathy Steele
