Not sure what to say?

I just heard today that Mark had passed away !! It really saddened me to hear this. Mark was unbeatable for car service..he always added a smile and was very honest in all his dealings. He was cut from the old school cloth, when the customers were treated like friends and ethics and integrity were a mainstay of small business practice. Hope his sons carry on in the same tradition. Mark will be missed by many !!

Me and Mark are the same age. I would stop in to Larsen Motors on his birthday just to say hello to him. But not mention his birthday, he didnt like alot of fan fare about that. But then on the way out he would kind of wink and grin, like thanks for remembering. What a cool guy. Once on a test drive, he said: Keith we should do something fun sometime, instead of all this car stuff. I told him he made the car stuff fun too. Then we passed Teds bar and I pointed it out, Mark laughed and said...

Larson family, I just heard about Mark today. I feel badly I did not know at the time, I would have come to his funeral.

I told his son Jake today, that Mark was the most honest, nice, most ethical guy I had the pleasure of knowing. When Ace died (my mechanic forever on Lexington and Roselawn, another great man) I went to Larson's because Ace respected Mark so much he actually sent me there a few times when Ace didn't have the time or the expertise. Mark has taken care of me and...

Sean, Jesse and Jacob,
As you have been for many years, you are in my thoughts and prayers always. I know how hared this has to be for you all and wish there was a way that I could take away your pain at this loss. Please know that I am here for you always. All my love, Auntie Peggy

I want to thank all of you for your kind, loving words about my brother Mark. I can see how appreciated he was as an honest and trustworthy businessman. Jacob was trained well by Mark and I'm sure will do a good job of filling Mark's shoes.

As a family, we were all stunned to see so many people at his funeral. We expect a lot of people, but to see all those who loved him and respected him was just so heart warming. Thank you all, again, for showing us how much he was cared for. I...

To the Larsen Family,
I am sorry to learn of our loss. I considered Mark a friend even though I am just a customer. Being in the automotive business myself, I always knew that Mark was honest, something you don't always find today. He will be missed, our prayers are with you all.

Mark's Family,
We were shocked to learn of Mark's death when we had our car in for service this morning. Mark, as well as his Dad, have given us and our three children excellent auto service since the early 80's. Mark had such a pleasant personality and caring concern for his customers. He will be deeply missed. Our sympathy to his family at this difficult time.

So very sorry to hear of Marks passing. I have taken my cars to Larsen Motors since the early sixties, starting with Mark`s dad; but remember Mark, especially the way he looked right in your eyes with an unflinching honesty expressed in his blue eyes, that he would see that your car was fixed to the best of his ability. I had great respect for Mark, may he rest in peace and joy with the Lord.

Dear Larsen Family,
I knew Mark as a customer at Larsen Motors. I had so much respect for him and I liked him a lot. He was always so helpful to me and my young adult children. I will miss him a great deal. What a loss! I am so sorry he is gone.
