Not sure what to say?

I just found this obit after thinking of my old friend and hopping on to google to try to track him down. I'm sorry to find that my efforts come 14 years too late. I can't remember how we first crossed paths, but I remember going to see him play music at bars all over town. (I particularly remember a gig at Lee's where Muggsy spent the whole evening sparring with a large party of extremely drunk bridesmaids. Good yuks.) My sincere -and long overdue- condolences to Mark's family.

Mark,
For the short time I knew you at work, you made an impact on everyone you met. I know that we have a lost a very, very decent person in society and people like you are not easy to find. I know you are resting in peace; your exemplary actions and positive perspective will live on after you in our memories.

Mark Lawson & Family,

Mark, you were a very good friend of mine. I had the honor of working with you for several years. You were one of the sharpest people at work. As everyone has stated your sense of humor brought a lot of joy into the lives of your friends, family, co-workers and almost anyone you would meet.

I had the honor of working with Mark in Manila in 2006. He flourished being abroad and made strong friendships with the people he met. His fiends in Manila did...

I am going to miss Mark calling me his elderly aunt(51),his great sense of humor. Also his very presence at all the family events.
Love Ya Mark!

Mark was a colorful personality and fun to be around. He was also Master of the "one liners". I`m sure there are some good tunes spinning for him now. I feel blessed that I got to meet him!

My sympathies to the family.

I had not seen Mark in years, but we used to play in a band in the Dinkytown area circa 1993.

Mark was always quick with a joke and was a walking encyclopedia of blues knowledge.

RIP.

Lawson family,
You will be in my thoughts and prayers, during this time of loss. I will miss Mark's keen wit, humorous spirit and wealth of blues knowledge.

With synpathy,

It was always a blast when I was growing up, and I would run into you at your dads house. You made us feel good about yourselves, no matter what we were up to...

May the lord be with you and your family today and always!

Dear Char, Bill, Steve, Dave, John, Bob and families,
I've known about Mark, his talents, sorrows, humor and successes. My deepest sympathy to each of you and my prayers that the good memories will carry you through this difficult time of grief.
From the above remarks, he was loved by more than you family members. My prayers that you will know God's presence and support, especially the peace that Mark is entertaining in heaven.
